BMW CCA Central Coast chapter has a 2-day driving school at Buttonwillow Raceway, July 2-3.

I wish I could go but at this point it looks unlikely, since I just did one day at AutoClub Speedway, might be moving to another apartment, still need to do my cooling system refresh, am getting ankle surgery the next week, blah blah blah.

But don't let my lame excuses stop you! I have driven one day at Buttonwillow (13CW, in the rain) and it is a lot of fun. Very unlikely to have rain there in July. BMW CCA is not the cheapest for track days, but they include an experienced instructor with you for every session (unless you're in the A+ group, then they let you drive without an instructor).

I wish I could go too, but don't have the funds.

BMW CCA HPDEs are WELL WORTH the money.

Southpaw, man, couldn't you go as an instructor and get some free laps? I thought you were a yellow-shirt.

That's BS that they don't allow verts. My vert has the roll-over system and I've run it at buttonwillow before.

That's correct, most CCA chapters don't allow verts unless you have a fixed rollbar installed. NASA and/or SpeedVentures might let you run a vert if you have the active roll-over protection. Possibly also ExtremeSpeed.
