Hi everyone, i have a 2008 bmw328i, today when I started the car it turn right off. After restarting, no further issues with start up. When I was at the red light,
the idling started to jump, and the car sounded like it was going to turn off, it did not but the rpm needle was lower than before. As the day progressed, the check engine loght came on, and now the car make a squeeling noice on the left side of the engine, almost sounds like it comeing from the passenger side front tire. It is a loud noise (almost like a siren) ,and it's definately not the brakes.

I think it the idler pully, but wanted to get a second opinion.

check your bacon stretcher, theres been reported problems with squealing upon failure!

SoIi took the car to the dealer today, and they told me that the engine intake valve was sucking in air.When he removed the oil cap, the noise go louder.
Dealers is not sure intuil he checks it, any ideas

If you took it to the dealer did they pull the engine codes? Should be an easy fix for them or an independent shop if you're out of warranty.
