anyone know where i can get black grills to to replace my stock chrome on a coupe? i see the sedan ones on ebay but never seem to see any for the coupe. thanks

yes i did. cleaned it with paint thinner, primed it, used 400 grit sand paper to smoothen it out, and put 2 coats of black on it

what kind of paint?

depends what your going for.... flat black, or glossy look?. just a can of black spray paint will do. I would advise getting some automotive spray paint at an auto store

I painted mine. 400 grit sandpaper, 2 coats of red primer and 8 coats of glossy general black spraypaint

Yea I did mine myself too... Just get a few cans of auto paint, and so a search for the DIY on here... Its soo easy to do.

one thing though...if u paint them urself ... they are prone to rock chips!! but if u buy aftermarket ones, like those Hamann, which are molded black, they'll never chip! :thumbup:
