Hi,

I need advice on the following,

I have 323i sp sedan 2000. i want to have installed HR sport springs with Bilstein sport shocks.

1/ Do i need to change my 225/50 16' wheels/tires to
225/45 16' ? If not, is it going to touch the chassis on some bumps?

2/ How is the ride compared to OEM suspension sport and how about the sqeaks?

Any thoughts would be helpfull, thank you !

you should be fine on current tires/wheels

and your ride will be a bit stiffer than the sport suspesion

no idea about the squeaks though....but i'm assuming it shouldnt at all if its installed correctly

I had squeaks with my Eibach Pro Kit and I have read that other peeps with my same set up have had the same problem. They don't squeak anymore but if there is a problem take it up with the place where you have the install done and I'm sure they will take care of it.

Thanx folks,
For 2/, i was refering to sqeaks inside the cabin due the new
suspension setup that is stiffer so more flex on the body.

I have that setup on OEM 17s and the ride is perfect. Firm, but not harsh, and so far I do not hear any squeaks.

I was thinking of changing to H&R race springs, because some people can't even tell that the car is lowered.
