Bilstein B4 Struts & B3 Coil Springs Replacement

2004 BMW 330Ci. Alright, I'm looking to do a complete refresh/replacement of my front and rear suspension. Does anyone have experience and/or tips for using Bilstein B4 Struts and B3 Coil Springs? As I understand and have researched this is "standard" suspension and will most likely raise my vehicle slightly. But, do these struts and coil springs try "too firm"? I'm not really looking to race my car but I like having fun with it every now and then.

P.S. I live in Dallas, TX - roads are terrible hear haha

Thanks

B4's will be very close to stock in terms of firmness. I put them on my 2005 330xi and they are just ever so slightly firmer than stock. Any reason you're changing springs? Stock springs usually last a long time. Struts and shocks do not affect ride height. Springs and strut mounts affect ride height. Suggest you do some searching on this website as there were several threads about using different strut mounts to compensate for slightly higher ride heights due to different manufacturers.

Unless springs break, don't change them. If there's surface rust, just sand it and paint.
Make sure to change the spring rubbers, those deform over time.
Rear springs. order the rubber pads that suit your ride requirements. Ranges from 5mm to 25mm thickness (E36 Eastern European rough road package 25mm IIRC).
Get new mounts front and rear. Front E90 Xdrive mounts seem to be the most durable; there's threads about that. Rear mounts, get a style similar to Rogue Engineering. They're easier to install and double as reinforcement plates.
