BZ guys, we have just stumbled upon something which could have saved us a lot of time and money...

After developing the BZ bracket on a sedan (which was a very tight fit at that, but worked), we attempted to do two local installs on 330Ci's with Bi-Xenons... We could NOT get the things to fit in the space underneath the headlight with the provided bracket! *ARGH!*

So after about 4 hours of fiddling around with the ballast to find different mounting locations, we came up with a solution which is extremely simple... Double sided hi-temp tape (or Velcro) will securely and safely mount the ballast to the radiator expansion tank. We checked with Philips and the ballasts can withstand engine temps, and we checked into hi-temp 3M double sided tape (still waiting on the word for the heat index on the velcro). Essentially the install involves removing the headlight, removing the ballast, attaching the tape (or velcro) to the ballast, and sticking it on the radiator expansion tank.

All I've got to say is; :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

For those of you who's bi-xenon kits have shipped, we will be expiditing strips of hi-temp double sided tape or velcro to you (Or if you don't want to wait, you can probably get some at home depot). You can take that $10.00 bracket and wear it like flava-flav. For those still to ship, you will be getting the new stuff with the kit.

We're extremely sorry about this (both in terms of wasting your time, as well as financially for spending so much to develop the brackets).
