The rubber BMW ones are good....
Agreed. I have the rubber BMW Mats in my 2002 and they are excellent. They NEVER slip and are easily cleaned with cleanser, a scrubby sponge and warm water.

I have the Weather Tech mats in the 2004 and they are garbage. Not very snug fitting at all and the edges tend to warp inward in short order. And well, I don't need a floor mat that can hold a pony keg of Coors.

Hello, what are the best floormats velours/carpet ones (the ones i have rn) or getting rubber ones? Oem or weathertech? I don't like the weathertech branding tho

Are those the all weather BMW ones or are those different ones?

The site states the brand is Genuine BMW and lists the BMW part numbers. Contact Schmiedman directly if you’re questioning that.

WeatherTech mats are very good, but a little pricey. I have the floorliners in my 2004 330Ci and love them.

Ok, i’ll see which i like the most. I do like the weathertech floorliners one.

I have another question i ordered a velcro hook but on my current mats there is no velcro things attached on the mats will the velcro hook keep the mats in place without it? If not where can i buy those velcro things to put under the car?

We had the original BMW rubber mats(IE like the ones in your link) in our xi. The problem I came across, was the mats would crack and leak in those divots. This was especially true in the wear areas on the front mats. Ordered and installed BMW's new version of the rubber mats for the fronts (made by Weathertech), along with new mounting hardware. These seem to be better in multiple facets(design, quality, fitment, etc..), but time will tell.
regards

you mean carpet? sure do. Lloyd’s makes good mats. lately been just using Genuine BMW carpet mats

Thinking of getting the Weathertech one but

The OEM ones are around 100$ and the Weathertech one around 200$, so are the Weathertech Floorliner really worth it?
Are they really better then the OEM rubber BMW one?
What makes them better then the OEM ones?
If my shoes are wet will i slip on the Weathertech mat?

The OEM rubber floor mats are a soft rubber whereas the Weather Tech ones are a hard rubber/plastic and a tub design. Helps keep the carpet a bit cleaner and because the material is harder than the OEM rubber mats, it makes cleaning a bit easier since it is less porous. Ultimately your choice but if you have a black interior/decide to get black OEM mats, you won't really notice them getting dirty as easily

I currently have carpet/velour BMW OEM mats but they keep moving all the time and is really annoying, my floors has holes in front and back but i don’t have any hooks.
I just want the overall best mats available, who protects the car and such, pretty much the best buy for a long run. Where i live it’s almost always cold, raining and such. My interior is black.

So between the BMW OEM All Weather floormat and the WeatherTech FloorLiner which one is the best one?

Oh boy, a floormat thread, almost as bad as oil or brake pads. Nonetheless here I am replying....

I see every floormat here in my shop and have used most.

Personal preference for spring-fall, Genuine carpeted mats from the dealer. Keep an eye out. Very often dealers run a special 2 or 3 times a year and can be had at a substantial discount.

Winter/inclement weather. The Weathertech, but they're not perfect (nor ar the BMW rubber ones.)
The lip design of the Weathertech is a huge bonus and I run them year round in my Toyota Tundra. They are of a harder material than the BMW rubber ones and wear much less where your heels rest 90% of the time.
On my Tundra, despite the hooks, the forward edges have started to curl a little, and it's somewhat annoying. Albeit they are 3 years old.
Crud retention is superior, albeit at an increased cost over that of the BMW winter mats.
With some Tide and elbow grease they clean up fairly (mine are black) well.

Lastly any floormat will wear, period. Think of how much abrasion happens over time in those two spots your heel rests/pivots over and over again.

I prefer the look of carpet, especially genuine. I have found the weathertech to be very durable despite the objections I noted above.

P.S. At any time if you're ordering Weathertech mats online. Take a moment and complete the very brief survey of "How did you hear about Weathertech?"
Click the box about racing and/or support of the IMSA series.
They are spending huge amounts of cash to participate in 2 levels of sports car racing. I'd like to think they will continue to do so.
Throw them a bone!

I have a really hard time choosing what to get. Between the OEM rubber ones vs the OEM All Weather ones vs the Weathertech Floorliner. Also does anyone know what the difference is between the OEM rubber ones vs the OEM all weather ones?

I currently have the OEM carpet ones, but mine doesn’t have any hooks or velcro on it, so they keep moving. I do have holes on the floors front and back. I heard that the rubber ones are better then the carpet ones so idk. Where i live it’s almost always raining and such.

Where i live it’s almost always raining so idk if it’s a better to stick with the carpet ones or replace them with rubber ones.

Are the BMW OEM All Weather mats slippery?

Is it really worth it to get the Weathertech liner just for the sides things, does anyone really get the sides dirty with OEM ones?

I live in Europe. Went to checkout for the OEM All Weather mats set on ECS but it says $186 but when i check out with PayPal it says $103 so how much will i actually pay then? The Weathertech one is $50 more expensive the OEM one if the price of the OEM one is $186 and $117 more expensive if the OEM one is $103. So idk

The OEM ones are cheaper but the shipping is expensive like +$90 just for shipping, the OEM mats are $103 so i’ll pay $190-$200 for the OEM one for 4 mats plus shipping

While the Weathertech Floorliner is $180, idk if the shipping in included.

So if i had to choose one the Genuine BMW All Weather or Weathertech Floorliner which are for pretty much the same price for me around $190-$200, which would be the better one overall?
