My stock exhaust isn’t cutting it, I’m looking for something aggressive and deep. Not high pitched or annoying. Any recommendations?

Magnaflow makes an E46 muffler that was fairly popular with a deep throaty tone.

anything that improves exhaust gas flow will sound great. performance sounds aggressive

well that’s not always true. plenty of “fart can” exhausts that sound horrible.

Well duh. As you neck up the ID of the exhaust tubing, the same volume of gas takes up less length of the tubing meaning that for that given volume of gas to pass a given point in the system, velocity must decrease. You're slowing the exhaust gas down at the end of the system and letting it get pushed out by the exhaust pulse behind it.

Lots of cars with fart can exhaust also don't perform well.

Was just clarifying your statement. What is simple to some of us is taken exactly as stated by someone unfamiliar looking for answers later down the line.
