I understand the concept of having a more complete burn. But are the stock coils bad?

Does anyone have any power numbers to support $250 to upgrade from stock coils?

the stock coils are good enough for the M3 models with 11.5-1 compression..... should be fine for a lowly 330/325 :)

I got a set because my 328 has the older, more expensive, style coils...
Figured it was going to be slightly cheaper to just get the BavAuto set.

Doesn't feel like that substantial a boost, but I did notice a little bit better throttle response.

You would probably have noticed a little better throttle response with a new set of stock ones as well.

Yea, I realize that...
...but did you catch the part where I mentioned that they ended up being cheaper; since I've got the older, more expensive style, coil?

Yeah, mine uses the older style as well. I just had to replace mine (one was burned up) and I replaced them as a set. I won't use any aftermarket part in the ignition or fuel system.
