I just installed the basslink in my 01 330CI. Although the power and bass response isn't that extreme its a nice low fill (esp with seat down). There is one problem though.

I am using the speaker level inputs from my rear deck HK subs. Using speaker level inputs, the basslink doesn't require a remote turn on...its autosensing. When the stereo goes off, there is a "Thump" from the sub...the user manual says this is common and the solution is to turn the autosensing feature to OFF. I have tried that but now the sub won't turn on?!!!

WTF. What have others done?

Thanks..
Raj.

just run the remote on from the stock amp. its the solid white wire. use those tap-in things and just run a wire from that to the remote on screw on the unit.
