I'm trying to find a cheap way to hook my Ipod up to my car system, either using an aux input or an ipod adaptor. Anyone have ways that have worked for them?

I used the OEM BMW part referenced in Lusticles' post above. Works like a charm. On my 330xi I swapped out the cupholders for the eurotray which has a pen holder in it. I just routed the aux cable under the center console and out that pen holder.

I used an Aux. cable from BavAuto.com and ran it to the ashtray in front of the shifter. It's been working well since I did it this past spring.
