i heard a rumor that late model 03s (made after like may 03) came with an aux input behind the nav screen, in a wire bundle.

but the only info i have seen about this online is for m3s.

i have a 330xi, w/nav and cd changer.

does anyone know if my car has the aux input already, or lead to me where i can find out??

I have no idea about 330's however i know the 03 m3's do infact come with an "Aux Ready" head unit.. you have to purchase the aux cable... they are like 150 from the stealer or 65 bux from some guy on roadfly...

i knwo the cars do come prewired for them but do they have it already there like becki said

You have to buy the aux input (about $40). The head unit comes prewired if you have an 03' either with or without navi, and you just install the piece where you will plug in the wire from you mp3 player, discman..whatever...and then conect the wiring from the connection plate to the back of the headunit...this is the link I used for the install:
