Hi

I bought an auxiliary in cable and was hoping to fit it to my 2003 E46 325i convertible which has factory navigation fitted (along with HK sound if that makes a difference).

When I took off the radio, I was expecting a large plug at the back left. Instead, there are two connectors at the side and there doesn't appear to be anywhere to connect my aux lead.

(pics attached) (Edit - apologies about the 90 degree rotation)

Have I bought the wrong part - is this even possible with navigation?

TIA

May have answered my own question. It appears that if I strip the wiring harness there's a wee plug inside there. I'll try that tonight.

OEM navigation have the radio module in the trunk at rear left. That blue and white connector in the pict is for bordmonitor only. Aux in should be connected to Radio module BM53/BM54.

Got it connected up this morning to the connector hidden behind the black tape. It works flawlessly.

Thanks.
