nah dude, no hatin here man....its just that R&D is a much larger chunch of the cost than you realize...the equipment is cheap, tuning it isnt...

I aint got nuthin but love...:)

JAWKNEE JAWKNEE JAWKNEE!!! you're obviously way too important for us :) lol...

nice to see you back...
I'd like to hear the emails we get back on this. I hope those who emailed will post the response. I wonder if this kit is out or still in R&D since this is about the first I think anyone has seen from these guys for BMW turbo options.
Cartech is also releasing a turbo, according to their site.
Their turbo kits run @ $9000 for an OBDII BMW, but basic Mustang blowers are $4000. Of course, full blown kits for later Mustangs are @ $10,000.

No kidding! People that talk trash and get into arguments on an internet message board are...well... thats just sad.
no doubt ATP is a great company.... sure to be interesting. I'll wait until it comes out to make judgement... has potential
Yup, yup another option is out there

sure will like to see what they do for us....as for my projekt SRT4, guess I know where I am getting the Stage 3 from if MOPAR doesn't step up to the plate
hes kind of right. going in and getting a custom turbo kit done does not cost all that much.

With all due respect, unless you have engineered a specialized kit for a relatively small market yourself. Tried to produce, market and sell that kit, and maintained a business with all the necessary overhead, etc. Again, all for a relatively small market.

Unless you have done it, you have no clue what you are talking about...

Why gon't you go out and "just get a manifold made and intercooler piping done".

Then buy the components (intercooler, turbo, oil lines, fasteners, gaskets, hoses, injectors, etc).

Oh, and don't forget about how you are going to TUNE it. And make sure you do it right (which is very unusual).

Do all that, and then get back to me about how much of a rip-off BMW forced induction kits are...

lol.. freddy... your being sarcastic right???

If you wanted to develop a custom turbo kit for a E46 it'd cost you at least 10k to start from scratch. THats for sure.
The company is literally 2 min away from my work in Fremont, CA. Everyday I pass them they have tons of VWs or AUDIs in their parking lot. They specialize in those cars. I also notice they have a dyno inside their facility. On some special days, I see other cars like 2 new 350Zs, a E46 M3. I believe one of the workers there owns a topaz E46 and I occasionally see a 4 dr silver E46 there as well; Probably for testing. For more info, check out their site at www.vwturbo.com
Can step handle this much power? If it can, then I'm so interested...
Arent these the same guys that did kromex's turbo?
Someone needs to stop in and get the info from the "horse's mouth"
This is whom Kromex has been working with and right now the only kit that is ready but still not available to the public is the one for the 330, the other e46 apps are coming also.

That silver sedan was most likely kromex.

No it can't. According to Samir the Step is good for up to 260 lb-ft of torque. If the ATP kit makes 350 HP it should be making at least 300 lb-ft of torque.
THis company is right across the street from my dads office in fremont alot of our EP cars (vw and audi) go there, they do very good work and this will be a good kit from a very good company
Well, if this is the place that does Kromex's ride, then it's legit. Wow - if they can release this for 4k, they rock.

I disagree, because they are selling superchargers on ESS for both, automatic and stick. I say step is good for anything under 400hp and 350 tq
