Probably a dumb question just figured I would ask so I don't buy something I don't need. I have a 04 330xi that I just replaced a rear wheel bearing on. The previous owner included 2 wheel bearings with the car as he knew they were going bad. Anyhow, they are both the same exact wheel bearing (the ones he included)
I am going to do the front next, but am wondering if I need to buy a different bearing for the front or if I can use this one. Upon looking up the part, the part numbers are clearly different, but the bearing looks exactly the same. I'm assuming there is a tiny size difference or somthing.
Has anyone replace front and rear bearings, or have knowledge of, and can confirm that the bearings are the same/different for front and rear? Like I said, I know the part numbers are different, but they appear to be the same and I already have an additional rear bearing on hand.
