New APEX E46 M3 Wheels
Featuring NEW FL-5 Wheel

Through community feedback, we decided to produce our new fitments in one of our newest designs, the FL-5. This new design incorporates the latest technology, and offers unique features like spoke scalloping which reduces rotational mass while increasing structural integrity.

With the release of our new FL-5 wheels, we have designed new fitments to maximize the car's potential on and off the race track. Our team has mapped out a square and staggered fitment below, allowing enthusiasts to choose between a number of wheel and tire configurations depending on whether suspension and/or alignment modifications may be present. Whether you are enjoying your machine on the street or as a weekend track warrior, we've got you covered!

We currently have many FL-5 wheels already available for the E46 M3. For more information on those fitments, check out our thread here!

Why these new fitments?

The 18x9.5" ET28 and 18x10.5" ET40 provide a much needed solution for the E46 M3. Traditionally, an E46 M3 running a square setup would have two options: 18x9.5" ET35 or 18x9.5" ET22. The 18x9.5" ET35 is a direct fit for those with stock suspension or linear style coilovers. If a customer is running KW, Ohlins, Bilsteins, or other conical style suspensions, a 5mm spacer would be needed up front to clear. To avoid the need to run a spacer, the 18x9.5" ET22 fitment would need to be used. This fitment provides ample inner clearance so no spacer would be needed. However, that fitment is quite aggressive and would require a healthy amount of negative camber. The 18x9.5" ET28 bridges the gap between these two fitments. This fitment allows enough inner clearance to avoid running spacers while reduces the camber requirement needed when running the 18x9.5" ET22.

In the rear, we currently offer an 18x10.5" ET25. This fitment can fit the E46 M3, but is quite aggressive. Customers wanting to run a wide tire may need to roll/pull their fenders or run negative rear camber. The 18x10.5" ET40 is a great solution as it allows the ability to run a wider 285 or 295 tire without the need to modify your car.

Be sure to consult with an APEX fitment expert today if you have questions about wheel and tire fitment, or brake clearance.

This thread pertains to our BMW M2-specific fitment (18x9.5" ET28 and 18x10.5" ET40) only. To view all available sizes, click here.

Thank you for all the interest and participation in our E46 M3 wheel pre-order thus far. We are very excited to bring both square and staggered FL-5 E46 M3 specific fitments to market. We have just completed production on a majority of the wheels, and we are expecting to have most of them in stock mid-February. Please note there will be an additional 2-3 week delay for the 18x10.5" ET40 Race Silver and Anthracite wheels.

For those who have not yet taken advantage of this pre-order, we have extended the $100 off + free shipping discount until February 15th.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
