Anyone know how to remove ODBII connector

I am having trouble removing my ODBII connector from the footwell panel. I have removed the black footwell panel and slid the top of the connecting portion back on the connector. Still have no idea on how to remove the connector from the footwell panel.

You have to pull out the blue (i believe) U clip that holds it in place. You are going to pull that out from the SIDE of the clip. Then, push the OBD port from the bottom up.
