I'm a Uverse manager for the California Bay Area. My boss just gave me 20 $250 visa gift cars to get my friends and family to sign up over the holiday season. I'm not going to push this on anyone on I-club but $250 is a great was to help with the holiday season out and you get a great TV/Internet service also. If you don't want the visa gift card I work something else out.....

please call me at 650-504-4960 or PM me if you have any questons, and the Uverse TV/Internet service is not in every city. If you want me to check if it is at your house just call me.

TV/Internet can start as low as $74 a month and go with NO contract

If you don't like the service you can cancel within 30 days and pay nothing!

Thanks

Jon

I was gonna sign up for Uverse 200 but I couldnt wait for internet anymore so I just signed up for the pro. $20 per month off for 3 months plus a free gateway modem. Can I still get Uverse and combine the two? Im also looking for cable tv with HD programming. What do you suggest I get without a contract?

my parents were just asking me about signing up for ATT at their home. problem i had was that their FiOS was rated only 3mbps, while their Time Warner is 10mbps. Is there something wrong with the FiOS number? i thought it was supposed to be fast?

Just switched from Comcast, wish I had seen this

The AT&T service (especially the TV menu) is LEAGUES better than Comcast. Plus Comcast throttles the sh!t out of their internet bandwidth.

Just switched to U-Verse from Charter this weekend. Charter is crap, so far U-Verse has been a dream. Cheaper and much better. Everyone should take advantage of this!

Can you give us some details on the plan? How does the internet compare to Comcast? I am paying $119 with Comcast triple play with HBO and all the HD channels. I am willing to switch, but need more info. Thanks

I know mine is $109 for TV, Internet and Phone. Includes 3 boxes, whole house DVR, HD for all TVs. $14 more for all HBOs.

Hey Ashhong. Regarding the FiOS rating, where did you get it from. To my knowledge, FiOS is a public utility therefore the speed should be the same between any 2 company. From what you're telling me, its sounds as if the person giving you the quote was compaing apples or oranges. UVerse as well as other FiOS company have different internet speeds you can sign up for. For example: at&t Uverse give you 5 internet speed options to sign up for - 16 mbps; 12 mbps; 6 mbps; 3 mbps; and 1.5 mbps.

Great to hear you're enjoying the service. and yes, the no bandwidth cap is great!

Great to hear you're enjoying and satisfied with the service as well. :)

Like i mentioned above, internet differs from Comcast in that Uverse has a dedicated line of service to your house. Meaning, at any given time, regardless of peak internet usage hours, your speed will be relatively the same - the speed you pay for. With Comcast, internet is like a pipeline where the more people use internet, they tap into the pipeline and slow down the speed. Also, in terms of pricing, Uverse has 5 different speeds catering to the different needs of different customers, whereas Comcast has one price, one speed.
