Anyone install a Heads Up Display (HUD)?

I've been kicking around the idea of a dash mounted HUD.

I picked up a Hudly Lite, but it didn't seem to want to talk to my '00 323Ci 'vert. It did work in my '14 Ford F150 (quite well, actually).

Has anyone gotten one working in their e46? If so, what make/model, and did it do what you wanted it to?

Thanks,

Some photos - both day and night.

The nighttime photo picks up a 'double image', but you cannot see it from the driver's seat. Without the reflective screen, it had a double image that was pretty bad (it was still clearly visible, just with a double image).

Speed and RPM are quite responsive with very little to no delay, and both are spot-on matching the speedometer and tachometer on the dash.

A update here...
I've played with half-a-dozen different 'HUDs' from Amazon, all of them with no joy (but my friends, family, and neighbors love me because they all have HUDs that work in their cars...).

I stumbled across this: HUDWAY Drive: the head-up display to stay focused on the road while staying connected

What got my attention was this:
"Fetching OBD-II data to HUDWAY Drive
There is no way to directly connect HUDWAY Drive to a vehicle OBD-II port.
Instead, use a Bluetooth scanner (dongle) to visualize your car data on HUDWAY Drive.
There are two ways to view the information fetched by a BT OBD-II scanner on HUD. Both are very simple."

Torque works no problem in the 323Ci. RPM, Speed, and a variety of other datapoints,

I've pre-ordered mine, with a delivery date set for the end of August. I'll update this thread when it comes in...
