I can't find anything as far as self-install with the searches. on a scale of 1-10 1-being the easiet and 10 being the hardest.

This doesn't cover the OEM changer kit & panel install though. If you get the OEM changer kit & panel you don't need other mounting brackets.

That guy is brave. He just cut the black and gray connector off. I heard that stock Cd player has floating ground.???

I guess if you're going to add an aftermarket amp and replace your speakers, that's the way to go. Do you know if BMW sells the mating connectors for the black and grey connector so you don't have to cut it off?
