Been so busy working on the house and getting ready for the new baby that I haven't done anything fun in a while with the wife.

So I decided yesterday to take her for a drive up to Hampton tonight to go see Citizen Cope at the Casino Ballroom.

Anyone heading to the show? Or just cruising the strip and laughing at the mullets?

Gotta Love Hampton!

Sorry took off from work early to head up there. Yes the show was Friday night the 27th. He was great.

Yeah, I always thought Hampton was the place New Jersey sends their garbage but I swear this weekend took the cake!

There was some local JD Nascar team showing off their Monte Carlo that brought in some of society's greatest thinkers. But I'll tell you what I had a fantastic time with my wife we just grabbed a window seat at a restaurant and laughed our asses off at all the cut off jean shorts and fat chicks in belly shirts!

Unfortunately the main drag area of Hampton is kinda run down so most places rent out pretty cheap..... you can do the math to figure out where it goes from there...

Sad part... I was thinking of going down there if they have fireworks Wednesday night...Guess I'll keep a blind fold on my daughter while we're there until the fireworks start.

Stay down towards the south end of the beach... a bit more family oriented .... if you go down atlantic ave, you can walk right out onto the beach and not be immersed in the smut

I don't know where they actually light the fireworks from but North Hampton and Rye are so much nicer and I can almost guarantee you can view the fireworks from there.

Call Cinnamon Rainbows (cool surf shop in Rye) and ask them if they can see the Hampton Fireworks from their beach, if they says yeah than I'd say head up there. Nice beach and much nicer town.
