Hi All,

Somebody who borrowed my car "accidently" knocked the Radio/CD Player On/Off button off.:yikes:

Are there any easy tips on how to re-attach?

The actual rubber knob you twist has a rubber seal around the back of it with 3 lugs. You have to stretch the rubber seal to get it over the internal part of the button which presses in.

But when I try to stretch the rubber seal and touch the internal part, it just presses in and turns the Radio on/off making the job impossible:ben::banghead::ben::banghead:

Anyone who has fitted one will understand the pain I am going through, I thought grease may do it but then my hands will just keep slipping on the button.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Yeah, my mums Fiat died a painful death:rofl:

Fiat. Failure In Automotive Technology.

Long story but her boyfriend borrowed my wagon.

Last time though!!He left me no petrol either :censor:

So the vibe Im getting is just to Super Glue it back on, are there no other alternatives?

Sorry to resurrect this one, but I have the same issue, mine caused by a music-obsessed 4-yr old tho. Did you ever get the knob back onto the little plastic wheel or did you end up gluing it on?
