Did you replace the old bulb with another bulb from the dealer, or with any old bulb? I've been told by the dealer parts man that a brass base bulb (a' la your local auto parts store) will not turn off the warning light... You have to use a silver based bulb (which the dealer is happy to supply) to get it to turn off... has to do with the resistance in the two different types of metals... some parts stores have the silver based bulbs too, so check around...

I used the brass base and it worked fine.

Try this.
Move the bulbs. Change from left to right and vise versa. What happens to the warrning light?

othewise, I have no idea. Call you dealer and see what they say.
