Considering BMW recommends changing your oil every 15,000 miles... I hope nobody would think about doing that (max 7,500), does anyone here use XL-7500 from AMSOIL?

From their site AMSOIL says the XL-7500 is for 7,500 mile usage. It's also a synthetic, and it would seem the right oil to use.

I did a search for XL-7500 but nothing popped up.

Please comment, as I am about to make a purchase on about 4 gallons and would love to hear some feedback.

Since I haven't bothered to look at the Amsoil site, what is the weight of the 7500?

If it's not in the vicinity of 5w30, then it's the wrong oil.

Personally, I've got Mobil1 0w40 in my car for reasons of convenience.
