Looking to purchase and install a good quality Alarm System for my M3. Ive read some mixed reviews on the OEM Alarm... Any suggestions, comments, warnings - I need to get something soon.

The only real alarm that will help you recover your car is LoJack.

Any alarm is just going to make noise and nobody cares. Unless you get the two-way paging alarms (do a search!) but then you still have to be within a certain distance for it to page you.

I just got OEM alarm on mine so i can hear the BEEP BEEP! I dont' think people try to steal E46s cuz they need the transponder in the key to start it!
