Hi,

I've had an airbag light on for a couple months now and I just decided to take it to a shop and have the airbag codes read so that I could try to fix it myself. They codes they gave me back are:

04 - Ignition Circuit zk3 - Airbag Passenger Stage 1
0C - Ignition Circuit zk11 - Airbag Passenger Stage 2

I'm kind of new to car maintenance so if anyone could help me out with somewhere to start, that would be very helpful. I've tried to find something on the web to help me, but the best I've found is to remove the battery and somehow remove the passenger airbag cover to check the connection. Also I've read to maybe check a connection under the seat? Again, please help me out if you have any idea :)

Set yourself up with BMW Scanner 1.4 on a Windows laptop so you can read/clear codes, look at the SRS sensor data, etc.
