i drive a 99 bmw 323i...Manual sports package and ecis intake....could i beat an Acura RSX TIPTRONIC that has an aem cold air...????....my friend wants to race me should i put money on it?

I assume his RSX is not a Type-S, otherwise it would not be TIPTRONIC. Your car should beat his in the 1/4 mile.

Those suckers are pretty quick. I raced my friend's rsx type S and he beat me by at least 3 cars on the first run because I had my DSC on. We had 3 more runs with my DSC turned off and I smoked him by 2 cars. I only went up to 60mph. He has an AEM CAI and a short shifter. I'm fully stock and a BMW's ultra super high performance Long Throw Shifter Kit (LTSK):lmao: I'm not a very good driver either. I messed up on the launch but i made it up on my ultra fast shifting technique:lmao: :lmao:

shouldnt worry if he has tiptronic. i test drove one b4, u might get part on the first and early second gear, but on third, u should walk his car.... when i test drove the rsx with tiptronic, it refused to drop to second, when the rpm was only at 4k on third gear......

I totally agree with you. Those cars are fast on 1st and 2nd gears but loses their power on 3rd and higher gears.
