A 1999 Porsche Carrera 4 with 6300 miles
One time payment 0f $11995 for a 8.5 month lease. Lease ends 11/2003
I have over 20000 miles use of the car during the lease period.
Should I go for it?

Yah I think so, with those miles, I can put that many miles on in a month if I had a Porsche Definately go for that if its got what you want :thumbup:

I think so too. This will be a great summer car. Return it just in time for the next winter. I will call him tomorrow.

I don't know...i wouldn't pay that much money to "rent" any car for 8 months, at the end of the day the car won't be yours...and you paid 12 grand to play with it and got nothing to show for it....

PS. Heh be careful, don't misshift and blow the engine....gonna be expensive...

Well, for a $80000 plus car, lease will be at least $1000 a month, probably $1200-1300/month. I dont want to own a Porsche for too long. First it is expensive,especially in the winter months when I dont drive it,plus insurance.
I think a short term can satify my need for speed .
Am i thinking correctly?Or am I obsessed and paying too much?

That is why I did not want to test drive an M5 of a coworkers - then my 330i woudl have seemed a joke and I woudl have be like - I WANT THAT CAR NOW!!!!
