Now both the GM5150 and D5150 has been updated with External Mic,

Eonon, you should ship out all units with updated software to avoid people contacting you for the update file to fix the Launch.exe error.

ALL BUYERS: if you get a launch.exe window error, ask Eonon for the update file to fix this. After the update, go into Settings and Initialize the system to fix time clock accuracy.

If you do not get a launch.exe error but notice time is not responding/saving as it should, Initialize it as well.

Another pointer: if your battery ever dies on you or if you disconnect battery for a long time period, you would need to initialize the unit! otherwise you will have time clock issues. You will not experience any issues with the launch.exe error, only clock issues.

ordered the d5150! ended up going with it rather than the GM5150. Ill post it here as well as I added it as a comment, is it possible to avoid shipping with UPS? their tax fees are ridiculous -.-

+1 on the switchout. Not crazy about the factory HK setup I have on my M3. Now we wait :excited:
Haha I hear you. Within the next few months I will be changing out my speakers and hk "subs" and "amp" I really don't see anything premium about it. My friends stock e90 330i sound system sounds way better than mine haha. I just hate waiting for car parts tho. I wish it was sold for GB price through amazon and would ship with prime so I could have it here wednesday

Hi Carlos, thanks for your reminder, glad to tell you the new batch of GM5150 for this group buy has been already updated with the newest software, there's no such error anymore. So they don***8217;t have to update yourself. :thumbsup:
For the guys who buy the D5150 from this GB will still need to update it. Just kindly PM me if you want the software, thanks a lot!

And taveet330i, I remember you will order the D5150 right? I***8217;ll send it to you later, cheers! ;)

What***8217;s your country? Usually we only use Fedex, TNT or EMS, so don***8217;t worry about that.

Hi taveet330i, as far as I know from other customers, the US customs tax is very cheap, or if you***8217;re a lucky dog, maybe there***8217;s no tax at all. Good luck! :D

What's your country? Usually we only use Fedex, TNT or EMS, so don't worry about that.

Hi, my order number is 140500050868entg, located in Canada. So because I went with the D5150 I will need to update the firmware then upon arrival? Great news about the shipping btw :pimpin:

Know what you mean. Hopefully with this head unit and the old MB Quart speaker/tweeters I have the sound will drastically improve. It's a straight swap for the HKs as I understand it. Instead of switching out the sub I may go the Bass Shaker way which I had in my S2000 many years ago. Prefer the tightness of the bottom felt more than the boom of a sub. Not really me..

Well only time will tell... :woot:
