I am using 4500K now and it looks a bit blue on road surface. On very black (not grey) road surface, I can't see very well. I like clear white better.

What color does 6000K look like? Does it look purple?

higher Kelvin = less light, stock =4300 degrees kelvin. Degrees Kelvin, that is the color temperature. A piece of black material heated to that temperature in degrees kelvin would glow the color described. degrees kelvin = degrees above absolute zero which i belive is around 273 degrees below zero centigrade.

not an upgrade, a downgrade, less light.
I disagree....the light reduction is negligible, ie very small. I would rather have a white/purple look with a tiny bit less performance, then you for instance, who likes yellow color with more performance.......To each his own.
