Hello ,

My first post ever but just wondering if I need to replace the whole radiator or If I can just buy the part alone . It's the plastic part attached on the right side of radiator next to the expansion tank . Not sure how to post a pic on here . Any help at all is appreciated .

if it's the plastic part directly attached to the side of the radiator, then no you can't replace it. the only thing you can replace is the expansion tank and the mount for the ET which is linked above.
It looks like a plastic pipe and it has a 90 degree angle on top of the right side of the radiator . It's black plastic looks like it can be replaced but not sure . Is there a way to post a pic ?

Thanks , so what is the top green arrow pointing at ? What is the serial # for that piece ?
That's the end tank of the radiator and it can't be replaced, you need a new radiator. Do the expansion tank and transmission thermostat because it will break when you pull the expansion tank off. Read Mango's thread on cooling systems and do it all at once. Buy the parts from FCP Euro and use the code Mangofcp5 for a 5% discount on your order plus get a true lifetime warranty.

Each green arrow is pointing to a small torx screw that attaches this plastic mounting plate to the radiator.

To find the BMW part number, just go to the search page of realoem.com (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do), enter the last seven VIN digits of your car, click Search, then click Browse Parts. For example, here are the radiator parts for my car.

FCPEuro.com is the best place to buy the parts.
