I did some calculations: getting a 330 ZHP in a few months will cost me $8k ($4k on ZHP and $4k on lost value+tax). Since I just got my 330i a few months ago, I've been thinking why don't I save this $8k for a M3 in about 2 years. I would like to hear your comments.

I was thinking the same thing

I was thinking the same thing you were but the current 330i compared to the sports zhp is not that big of a difference to pay 8k for. Ill probably go for a M3 in a year or the new 545i. Save your money you can make your car run better than the zhp package for less than 8k dollars.

why not use 5k and do a technik stage 4.....315hp/315torque.....then do some more minor mods such as lightweight flywheel, some lighter OZ racing wheels, some aftermarket ignition coils, body kit, maybe lsd with shorter final drive....and you got your sedan faster then an m3 in n/a form.

I am not a big mod fan, especially when it comes to engine mod. I like to keep car as mechancially stock as possible. I will go for better handling than more power. Power is only good on straights, but curves are where the fun is.
