hey everybody...first post in a long long time. gonna get myself another bimmer. used 323i

just wondering for those that did the 330 brake swap, is it possible to put 16" on there? i know the base rim on the 330 is 17", but what if you had donuts or winter wheels?

There are a couple 16" wheels that will fit over 330 brakes but not many. The 330 comes with a full sized spare for just this reason. Gary or anyone from the Tire Rack will be able to tell you what 16" fit. The stockers do not from my understanding.

stock 16s won't fit... tirerack makes a custom 16 inch snow wheel that looks like a m-contour that will fit over the 330 brakes.
