Hey guys, has any of you seems a 330Ci badged M3? I live in Vancouver, BC. Yesterday I saw this guys driving a silver 2004 330Ci with the M3 badge. I was like OMG what a loser!.. Why would people want to badge something like that?

True True! There is nothing wrong with a 330 already. An awesome car. Must be an insecured owner. He might as well have paid a bit more if he wanted an M3. Now he does look like a foolio/poser.

there is a white 330ci convertable with m sport package rebadged m3 at my school ... why not just buy an m3 if u want one so much ... a m3 only cost a little more then a covertable with m sport package

yeah, i think you worded it incorrectly. It should be "I saw an m3 badged 330" And this "330 badging 318" doesn't make a lick o' sense. A 330 can't do any badging, and the more I think about that sentence, the more I get confused.

I got ya beat... just 2 weeks ago I was stopped at a light... looked to my right at the car wash.. and I see these e36 M3 wheels.. waiting in line... and a dude walking around the car.. chilling by it... i'm thinking.. nice m3... pull up a little more.. I get a glimpse of the body kit, mirrors, gray colored sideskirts.. ... ok.. fine.. whatever.. it's not an M3.. just a regular 3 with the wheels.. no biggie.. lots of people like the stock m3 wheels... pull up a little more.. WTF?!?!?!? :yikes: he's got an M3 badge on the car.... so then I'm thinking.. please at least be a 325..... pull up a little more.. single out pipe... nooooo!! a 318 badged as an M3..... I almost pulled into the car wash to be like "uhh.. nice M3.. she looks real fast".. and then leave... making him think I was all impressed... i wasn't actually going for a wash... i was just on the street in traffic.. but there was something always blocking my view.. so I saw more and more of it as a krept forward..

the one thing that bugged me about this guy was the way he was around the the car.. he was walking around it.. moving from spot to spot.. leaning against it...as if waiting for some chick to be like "nice car.. here's my number.. i want to shift your stick"..

but seriously.. in my opinion... be proud of what you have.. even if it is a 318... it's still a beautiful car... there's nothing wrong with debadging either.. cause it does look cleaner and that's why a lot of people do it.. but seriously.. sheesh...

oh yea.. the sad truth is.. probably about 5% of the people on the street actually know what the numbers/letters on back of cars mean... i'll be with friends.. whether it be guy or girl and see a car and be like.. ooooo.. a Sxxx or a 3xxx or wooo an AMG XXX and they're all like.. what's that mean... and then like someone else said.. only the enthusiast would detect a falsely badged car.. so less than 1% of people on the street..

My car is debadged. Some kid at my school asked me how much my M5 cost yesterday :lmao: Then I say "I don't have an M5..." "oh, my bad, how much did your M3 cost?"
"Don't have an m3 either"
"What the hell is it?"
"3 series"
"Oh... cool..." *Walks away in shame*

I can't blame him for the M5 comment, the DDE's and mirrors kinda give the car the effect, check this picture:

But see, the difference is, I don't BADGE my car M3 or M5... I have an ///M badge (sorry if i'm hijacking) and I'm thinkin about putting it on my interior trim to match my M ebrake, pedals, deadpedal, and shifter... but I'm missing the wheel :banghead: What do you guys think?

Anyways, that's weak that people would badge their car M3... makes me wish I had an m3 so I could show them what REAL M Power is...
