Hey Guys! Here's my E46 323i Wagon (2000)! She's been in the family since around 2003 with 49,000 miles on the ODO when my parents purchased it for $19,000USD. It has been sitting since 2014, drove probably couple times in 2016. But it's been sitting for quite a bit. (This is an issue when your dad has 7 cars in the driveway). I'm beyond thrilled that it has been passed down to me. I grew up in the back seat. I always loved the E46 chassis, but specifically the touring. Currently has 119,200 miles. Everything is original. There's quite a bit of work that needs to be done. Already dumped 1,500 miles since late August. I will be putting her in storage for winter, living in Upstate New York is brutal on vehicles during Winter. Anyway here is the current projects and future project!

Some Info:
Paint is quite rough, there is a couple dent's on the roof from an outside garage collapsing on it one winter, pretty deep scratches around the rear and front.

Current Repair List:
- Replace Brake Light Switch
- Replace Struts/Springs
- Fluid Flush on Everything

Completed Repairs:
- Change Front Right Corner Light Socket (it got corroded)
  • Change Wiper Blades haven't been changed since actually not sure
  • Radio not turning on (fuse behind radio was blown)

Future Plans:
- Double Din Radio
  • Remove Roof Rack
  • Bit of bodywork to do, might need a good paint correction and some spots resprayed, including some surface rust to deal with.
  • Give the interior a good clean, including leather seats.
  • Change Corner Lenses, Side Markers, Rear Tail Lights to Euro Spec
  • E46 Sport Steering Wheel, Current looks outdated.
  • New set of wheels, current ones are a bit curbed rashed, and I never really them.
  • replace front bumper with MTech 1 or 2 Front Bumper.
  • Coilovers

Good news! I finally decided to stop procrastinating.
  • Valve Cover Gasket Replaced
  • Revision on the Breather Hose for M56 VC
  • Fixed my broken beauty cover

Flashed an old tune, and cleared adaptations and its back to 20mpg. I'm assuming the updated tune I got had something funky with it? Who the hell knows. :ROFLMAO:

I have decided to get a custom exhaust built for the wagon! I've been planning to get an exhaust for the vert (since its way too quiet, so much so that I have stalled few too many times ). The cheapest option is the Magnaflow and its 870$ with my discount. After much pondering, seems like the best option is to put the Borla Cat Back from the wagon to the vert!

My plan is 2-1 3" all the way back paired with a Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator, and Vibrant StreetPower Muffler w/ DTM Tips. (2 V-Bands as-well for easy removal). Beyond excited to see how it turns out and sounds (I'll put sound clips once its done). It's going to be a pretty rowdy setup!

Wagon has been performing absolutely flawlessly with zero issues. Once my wisdom teeth get pulled (they've been bothering me, and depleting my energy), ill be replacing both hubs and converting to studs and replacing starter.

Then my attention will go to the Vert to get that sorted.

I decided to test fit the DTM Tip on the passenger side to see how it would look like? Honestly... Its pretty rowdy, and I cant wait to get this setup finished.

(No, Im not going quad tip.. it would be pretty rowdy though)

Any drone on the highway?
Surprisingly no. When you hit like above 4k, it definitely gets a bit rowdy. Needless to say, just daily driving no drone, and its a rather cozy setup.
that sounds great, has really nice tone to it.

Nothing really else to report. Wagon has been rather healthy.. for once. My focus point currently is on my vert, and getting that sorted.

I might've sourced some super clean front sport seats (electric, heated w/ lumbar). However my shred negotiation with a case of beer offer might've been declined. :ROFLMAO:

Good News, Wagon passed inspection with zero issues! The only thing noted from the inspection was differential bushings are definitely worn, and seen better days. (which I am aware of).

Hopefully next year I can do the subframe reinforcement (replace all bushings, and clean up the rust) before @George Hill yells at me for not doing it. 😂

Jeff's and Sam's R32 GTR's are absolutely stunning!

Here's a clip of wagon leaving the Kies Auto Show in Atlantic City, NJ.

Didnt realize how close I got to the curb... o_O (almost curbed my rear right wheel)
