The dark cors are about the only place I like a little splash of chrome.

Overall nice work and it's looking good! Small cosmetic upgrades are fun, the funtional ones (better head unit, etc) are the best!

Finding Tan Sport Seats are impossible; might have to go aftermarket route!

Yeah, I like the leatherette in the back with a 5 year old, but my driver's seat has some damage. Finding tan, heated, sport seats in leather in good shape to replace the fronts is not exactly fruitful.

Very nice, but not what I need. I drive mine daily, haul my family in it, etc. Make it too nice and it defeats the purpose, IMO. Granted this is still a step above the Subaru Loyale wagons I grew up in, but all of those still had the requisite 3 pedals that I go for.

Putting in a sub-harness isn't too bad. Pulling all the wiring out of my 2000 to retrofit the heated seats into my 2001 was a royal pita!! But it all worked out and I pulled that sub-harness back out of the 2001 and stuck in my 1994 Grand Cherokee along with the seats!

Man I don't have any room to talk about lunacy since I also knew that it was going to be a PITA and did it anyway!

I did mine since I was running a cable for a backup camera and it was just as easy to pull two wires as it was to pull one.

Did you do it during your interior swap?

Welcome to PA, what part of PA did you relocate to? If Kassel is about 2 hrs away, I probably am, too. You may want to message cjhinpa, he's very involved with the BMWCCA in the Philly area and I'm sure could provide some input on good shops in the area.

Ha! And that's why I figured it was to cheap, that looks like a nightmare. BMW says to replace the c-clip and that's why, lol.

It always bothered me that most wheel bearings of that style don't come with new circlips. The number of times I've had to destroy a clip to get it out it are too numerous to count. I had one wheel bearing that was so stuck I ended up replacing the spindle.

Good thing with the early car is the post cat O2 sensors can be tuned out and the readiness auto set. Trying to figure out the work around to keep my CEL off with headers on my ms45 car. You are also lucky because the Philly region has been phasing out tailpipe sniffer emissions inspections.

A little jelly, TBH. Are they heated? I'm a little upset that with all the options loaded into mine that it has leatherette on the sport seats. OTH having a now 5 year old, I'm happy to have that 8n the back seat. The nice thing about tan is that it's not super desireable, so it can be had reasonably from those who replace it with black.

I haven't been to Harry's in a while. It's worth the trip just because it's massive! Unfortunately it's an all day affair as it isn't the most well organized. That car must have been a very fresh arrival as it's sitting on the ground and so close to the car next to it. Nice score!
