On my 323i Port 87 is already occupied with a wire.The circled item is the injector power wire. The DME switches the injector signal on the ground side. Essentially, a single power wire needs run to port 87 on the fuel injector relay. On the 323/328, there is an extra port 87 open on the relay, so you only need to retrieve the correct wire from a donor car, de-pin it, and re-pin it into the relay's connector, X6327. This then runs to a white 8-pin connector X6053.

We took the S54b25 using the MS43 ecu.
Does Pin 7 need to connect to Pin 5 on the Port 87 even though Pin 5 is being used for something else?

Question on the fuel system. I'm preparing an M54B30 o swap into an M52TUB25 wagon. I see the fuel filter is different w pressure regulator integrated. What line needs to be run that i don't already have? Is it PN 16126752186

OP here. I did convert to the MS43 fuel system. Regarding the fuel lines, I was able to reuse and adapt all my MS42 fuel lines. A little flexing and some new rubber lines and it was good to go. No need to replace the plastic hard lines. On the MS42, there are two rubber lines that run to the engine (feed and return). You can reuse one of these for the MS43 system, which has only a feed line to the fuel rail.Question on the fuel system. I'm preparing an M54B30 o swap into an M52TUB25 wagon. M52b25 got regular throttle cable it's not like m54 drive by wire.Hi I am doing a M52b25 swap into my 316i shell. im having difficulties with the drive by wire system. I have plugged the 6 wires in and the signal goes fine from pedal throught x60004 out of x60003 and to the throttle body but the butterfly valve is unresponsive. when you turn on the ignition you can see the valve open and close. so I know it has power but it wont do anything in relation to the pedal.
the pics where you are describing the wiring for the gas pedal don’t show up for me either. I’ve managed to get mine started up and running thanks to you, but I think I’m missing something and would love to have those pictures to fully reference my pin outs cause I might’ve done it wrong just by going off your explanation. Can you send it to my email possibly? Hope you’re still willing to respondPics show for me.
I think the posts I've made do a good job of summarizing the swap. What else do you need to know? Maybe I missed something.
