Hello, so a little over a year ago I bought my 2003 325i and have done some small modifications to it. I have a resonator and muffler delete, a Mishimoto intake, and a short shifter. I like the way my exhaust sounds, however I wish it would pop, and have more burbles. From what I've read, I need to get rid of my cats, however I would still like to pass emissions. Is there any way to get pops/burbles without removing the cats? Also open to any suggestions of what else I should do, or if it's not worth doing anything to the 2.5l.

Just remove the cats and put them back for your yearly emissions test? I think that's how most people do it since cops don't really do emission tests on the road.
