Update: Here’s a 10-min walk around video I did for a prospective buyer.

I originally purchased this car in November of 2018 with 114,000 miles on it and a plan to build it as a street / track car. It now has about 120k miles.

The reason I purchased this car in particular is because it WASN'T in perfect cosmetic condition (wouldn't track a perfect car). The interior is a 5/10 and the exterior is a 7/10. The previous owners did not take great care of the care cosmetically. Looks good from 6 feet away. That being the case, it was a good platform for a track car.

Here's the CarFax for reference.

However, with a newborn, I'm realizing I won't be making it to the track any time soon... and so I'm looking to purchase an e46 M3 convertible that's more comfortable and that my family can cruise around in (Looking for a 2003+ with a manual, preferably in Imola, Alpine, Mystic or Oxford, mileage doesn't matter).

Here's what's been done prior to my purchase:
  • Depo headlights with angel eyes
  • Aftermarket LED tail lights
  • Lower rubber gaskets for rear quarter windows
  • Drilled and slotted rotors
  • AKG poly rear trailing arm bushings
  • Rod bearings were replaced by the dealer at 12,000 miles
Below is what I've done to the car since I purchased it (All mods have less than 4,000 miles on them and work was professionally completed either at Autosport Fabrication or Automotive Restyling):

Visuals:
  • LED Interior Light Kit
  • New fog lights
  • Smoked corner, side marker, bumper reflector and turn signal lights
  • New headlight lenses
  • New black kidney grilles
  • New black side grilles
  • Front carbon fiber splitters
  • Rear CSL-style diffusor (unpainted carbon fiber)
  • BBS CHs: 9.5/10 condition with perfect fitment for this car, 19x8.5in front & 19x10 rear, rears were recently straightened and refinished)
  • Wheel stud conversion kit
Suspension:
  • BC BR Series Coilover kit with front camber plates
  • Front & Rear shock mount reinforcement kit
  • Whiteline 30mm front sway bar
  • Revshift 95a poly subframe bushing kit
  • BimmerWorld rear subframe / Chassis reinforcement kit (welded and painted to prevent rust)
  • Full corner balance and alignment (setup for street / track by AutoSport Fab)
Driveline / Transmission:
  • Revshift 80A poly engine mount kit
  • ECS Tuning 80A poly transmission mount kit
  • Revshift 95a differential mount bushing kit
  • New drive shaft flex disc (guibo)
  • New diff output flange seal
  • Diff service kit with Redline fluid
  • Garagistic Duel Sheer Selector Rod (DSSR)
  • Coolerworx Pro Chassis-mounted shifter with red aluminum weighted shift knob
  • New shifter selector rod joint
Engine / Performance:
  • Status Gruppe Headers
  • Status Gruppe catted section 1 with 200 high flow cats (will pass emissions)
  • Megan Racing Cat-back exhaust
  • BuildJournal Tune
Maintenance (all new parts from FCP Euro):
  • Viton O-ring Seal
  • Liquimoly oil change with OEM filter and gasket
  • Oil level sensor
  • Oil drain plug
  • Oil pan cover gasket
  • Passenger side tie rod assembly with steering rack bellow kit
  • Windshield cowl cover
  • Fuel filter
  • Power steering pressure hose with new hardware
  • Replaced power steering fluid
  • Headlight leveling link
  • Passenger side fender liner
Here's what it needs / is missing:
  • Cooling system refresh (has another season or two in it)
  • Rear panel and rear deck speakers are missing (only front speakers work)
  • New brake pads and fluid (if you plan to track it)
  • Front tires (rears have 85% tread left)
  • Spark plugs (has another season or two in it)
  • Valve adjustment (has another season or two in it)

Bottom line:
I've invested over $12k into the car and it's an absolute riot to drive. It's pretty much ready for the next owner to rip it on the streets and / or at Limerock (or wherever). This is my second e46 M3 and 6th BMW that I've owned, so please do not message me with lowball offers. No - I will not sell it to you for $15k cash. Let me know if you have any other questions - I'm an open book!

Price: $18,500 (firm)
