I put in a new water pump a new coolant recovery expansion tank and all new hoses and a new coolant temperature sensor and a new blower motor and a new blower motor resistor it blows cold air it does not get hot or warm. the only thing left I can think of is the thermostat the car is not overheating I don’t know what else to do please help me

Research the correct way to bleed the cooling system. Make sure it is done right.

If your thermostat is failed open, then your car will be at the normal operating temperature while driving around town, but the temperature will reduce when you hit the highway.

Do you have a scanner or smartphone app to check coolant temps? If not use the hidden menu (test 7.1) in the instrument cluster to see coolant temps:


Btw, if you replaced the temp sensor in lower rad hose, that is radiator outlet sensor used to run the fan. The engine coolant temp sensor is located on the back of the head under the intake manifold runner for cylinder 6.

Very likely there's air trapped in the system.
There's a few ways to fill/bleed the system.
