I have 2000 E46 and I need to know where the accessories wire is to tap my power control on my amp to turn on amp with key

We need a little more information:
  • car model
  • car market
  • head unit
  • amp.
This forum is based in the US. All E46s sold in the US have a separate amp located in the left side of the trunk. E46s sold in all other markets have either the amp in the head unit in the dash or an amp in the trunk, depending on what options the buyer selected.

All aftermarket amps that I have seen are connected to power (and ground) at all times. The amp must receive either a 12VDC “turn on” signal from the head unit or the must “see” audio signals at its input connector. Again, this depends on the specific amp.

Hey what's goin on, ,
So my car model is a 2000 328 CI , not too sure wat car market is,
My head unit is my stock radio unit,
And my amp is the Kenwood kac. 2000 watt mono block, class D, ...
I can't figure out which wire to tap into for my amps power control wire, I know it goes to the accessories wire but don't know which one that is

On the connector to the amp, you want pin 10. It should be a white wire.
