Wireless networks are interfering. If you look for transmitters, you'll be surprised how many of them there are.

There are maybe 15-20 wifi's going on around me and regularly forks up my wireless keyboard. This was responsible for some of my typing error at least.

I know you are trolling, but our remotes run ~315Mhz. WiFi APs run at 2.4Ghz. They will not interfere.

I know the new police communications equipment block the signal to some older Subaru remotes and immobilisers. If there is a main police station or a radio mast that could be the cause.

Looking at this, I am betting that is/was the case here too.
