Forged wheels are really hard to bent but I'm not sure about HRE tho.

Michigan, like Detroit area or the UP? Makes a big difference. In either place you're probably going to want a second set of wheels for snow tires, and if you go with 19" rims you must have snow tires. If you keep tire pressure up the strength and tire protection difference between 18" and 19" is not all that much different. If you hit a pothole hard enough to bend/break an 19" rim it would probably bend/break an 18" rim.blk325 said:I am considering going with 19 inch 448's, but I live in michigan. is that a sane choice?
