Hi,
I accidentally knocked off my interior rear view mirror the other day. It's the one with auto-dimming and alarm light on it.
I had some 'Mammoth' super sticky tape which I tried but it will not stick to the smooth disc on the mirror stem (the part that attaches to the windscreen).
Is there a quick'n'dirty fix for this, can a BMW dealer fix it or do I need a new mirror ?
Also, I do note that the disc is very smooth, not sticky at all and the same for the part of the windscreen where the interior mirror was attached to.
So how do BMW stick it on there ? Is it some chemical process ? Because that mirror was very well stuck to the windscreen (as you probably know), yet there is no trace of any stickiness at all.
Thx.
