Hey fanatics
Im looking to get some new wheels but i really cant tell 18inch apart from 19 when i look at peoples cars on here.

Debating between these two:
CSL Reps in hyperblack
BBS-LM reps

Can people give me their opinions on which would look better and which size on my silver 330ci. I know most M owners go with the 19s because of their wider fenders.
And dont say "go with what size you like better" because i cannot distinguish which is which lol

thanks alot:thumbsup:

I would choose the CSL rep, in the black I guess on a black coupe.

18's. 19's will beat you up for daily driving. Some will disagree, but .. thats my opinion.

Need new shoes myself.

Look at my sig.
Those are 19" CSL Reps 8.5" front 9.5" rear.
The problem with the wider fenders is the offset i have an ET45 on the rear so the 9.5 fits without rubbing.

And yes if you have 19's you need to be more carefull driving. At least where I leave roads are sh*&$y as hell and last week I got one of my front rims bent on the inside (no cracks, but it pi**es me off). Also the tire profile and pressure will help protect your wheels.

19s or nothing. 2001 330ci with 0.9" and 1.1" drop. Fenders are rolled for the tuckage.

Linea Corse Z2S originally with Falken FK-452 tires, now rolling with Nitto INVOs.

Front 19" X 8.5"
235/35/19

Rear 19" X 9.5"
265/30/19

The ride is rougher than stock but who cares when it looks like this...

IMO I'd get Alufelgen SF-71 wheels. I'm gonna be running them when i get the money (savin up for em hehe)

They look the best but again this is only MY personal opinion. I'd say get 18s due to its a nice ride especially for a daily driver. 19s are still cool, might need some modifications to the fenders to prevent rubbing of all sorts haha but if i were you, i'd go with 18s especially if its a daily driver. That way you get the look, and comfort knowing that you you can hit a bump once and a while without worrying too much about wheel damage. Trust me, my dad knows this from experience

GL in your decision but again...go with this.

There's your black rims kiddo. (im not a fan of black rims, but if thats what you want, you have the option for it

Get 19's seriously.

I had 18" CSLs and after a while, I just kept regretting not going with the 19's, it's amazing how much that extra inch makes a difference appearance-wise.

Regarding ride quality, to be honest, it already got harsher with the 18's that going up to the 19's I felt almost no difference.

I would argue that the type of tire you go with will make a bigger impact on your ride quality than comparing 18's to 19's.

TLDR: Go with 19's!

Man they look almost like my Beyerns, only better. I don't know if it's because these are 19s vs my 18s and without any drop. Would love to have my vert look like yours.

i like the look of 19s on ///M3 but on the 3 series i think 18 does the trick. 19 might be too big without the appearance of the M body (fenders, sides front and rear bumper.)

I have matte black ESR1 19" rims on stock sport suspension. I like them. Still have my OEM sport rims also.

EDIT: Mine are also 235 front and 245 rears. No fender rolling.
