$1000 for replacement headlight?

I got in an accident in my 04 M3 and the headlight housing was damaged, though the xenon light/ballast are untouched and work perfectly. Body shop is quoting me $1000 for one entire replacement headlight, is this correct?!? sounds high.....

We can get you an entire PAIR for less than that!
Yeah, definately sounds high.
Call Pacific BMW or Circle BMW and see what they quote you, I'm sure it will be considerably less.
www.pacificbmw.com www.circlebmw.com (Pacific has better service)
You can get the housing without the insides, and it only cost $323 and that was from and autobody shop so you might beable to get it cheaper from Circle or Pacific
