  1. No heat in 2004 325i wagon

    General E46 Forum
Getting outside temperature air through all heater vents. Opened and inspected heater water valve, it looks/feels like new. Back-flushed heater core. It flows, but not as freely as I would expect. I know the heater water valve is normally-open. Unplugging the heater water valve gets me warm...
  2. 2005 E46 330xi-interior vents always blowing hot, now always blowing ambient air temp

    General E46 Forum
Have a HVAC problem with my 2005 E46. Dash, floor, or defrost vents were always blowing heat in the last 3-4 months (during summer or winter), unless A/C turned on. With A/C turned on, and face-level vents selected in Summer, I can get A/C cold air from vents. With A/C off, vents blow HOT...

  5. Dirt on IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor

    General E46 Forum
I am hunting down a vacuum leak, and I noticed a ton of dirt around the intake air temperature sensor (2/2003 330cic). I cleaned the area out, then removed the sensor, and the mounting hole and the sensor body were really dirty (dirt, not oil). See pictures. Should I be worried?
