I have an Imola Red hard top (from a 2002 M3) that was purchased with the car originally and has since been separated. The top is in very good condition, I would give it a 7/10 and fully functional (lights work etc). I will also throw in a BMW issue windscreen. Asking $500 OBO.
Does anyone know where I can get the mounting kit for the convertible hardtop? It seems it was discontinued by BMW NA and I can't find it anywhere. I already have a top I just cannot find the rear (vehicle side) mounts/associated wiring.
If you have an E46 vert and are looking for a hardtop, I have one in steel blue. I no longer have my M3 and am looking to make some space in my garage. There are some scuffs/scrapes but it is in good condition all in all. I'm looking for $1000. I live in Northern CT right on I91. Hit me up if...
I just purchased a 2006 M3 convertible and was wondering about whether a hard top and/or a wind deflector were parts that were worth having.
After a rather grim winter here in Massachusetts I'm thinking I might want to stow the rag top next winter. A hard top seems to make sense.
I've been wondering all day...
Has anybody ever built a hardtop for the E46 Convertible?
It'd be a really cool project to see if somebody did it.
Not that there is anything wrong with the soft top... but a hard top would be just awesome!
Anybody ever done a job like that?
