I have two rust holes in the floor of the car, right in front of the fuel tank. I'd like to pull up the carpet and weld in steel sheet so I can pass inspection.
Anyone know how to go about doing this? I'd assume I would pull out the rear seat and peel up the carpet from the back.
This is probably a stupid question but I've searched via google, realoem and briefly tried the wiring diagram yet could not find the answer to this so I figured I would ask.
To what do the wires that are routed through the trunk floor connect to? See attachment. (image not mine)

I am looking for a set of black floor mats that are in good condition. The ones that I have now are falling apart on the bottom and don't stay in place anymore. They need to be able to fit a 2000 323i sedan. Thanks

These mats came with an E46 coupe, but I'm not sure if they will fit a sedan or vert. Both sets include all 4 mats.
