Yeah I know, it’s another diff question I’m sorry guys. I’ve been doing a little bit of searching and I’ve seen lots (and lots and lots and lots) of discussion about the practicality of using the 3.46 diff and whether or not it’s ratio is too short to be useable for daily driving, but that’s not...

I have a 2000 328i and on the highway doing 60 had a slight loss of power in 5th gear that brought me to 53mph in a few seconds. Downshifted and started to smell something. So I've installed a lower diff ratio diff and I'm selling a 2.93 diff from a manual e46 328Ci (2000). It is in perfect working condition and I'm willing to let it go for cheap! All reasonable offers will be entertained. Melbourne buyers preferred. Cheers.

I am looking to buy a 3.38 or 3.46 diff to replace my 2.93 diff. So let me know if you have one. Alternatively, if you know where to get one locally (I'm in Melbourne) I'm open to ideas - note that I've already tried BM Penn. Cheers.
